Trip Report: the snow is still piling up in the Cascades, just not enough yet to really explore the usual zones.. we still got a small crew out for our 1st legit snowmoboard session on 11.27.10 at Stampede Pass, Wa.

Blog Star Date: November 27th, 2010
place: Stampede Pass, WA
people: Swappy, Tom, Steve & Jonny
The crew geared up and ready to head out. from the Stampede Park.
Master trail breaker Oneshot paved the way to new heights and powered up the road past the washout that blocked on the previous mission.
A keekor was quickly built and the grabby grabby party went down.
Dropping trees
Gold Passes
Total poser.

Another BC day at the Stampede. Kings Bowl skunked me again. Damn you and your cock blocking trees. Soon my friend, the mad slasher will own you.
You can't stop me this year, La Nina is on my side.Master trail breaker Oneshot paved the way to new heights and powered up the road past the washout that blocked on the previous mission.

After the zone got owned we rolled back to stumpy town and gambled a bit. Lady luck was on our side.
Both Steve and I placed some bad bets but didn't loose our shorts. Playing it safe, we took some power line runs.
Powder braaaaaping...
A 3 way luv triangle on one sled back up for some more runs.
After some electric slashing it was time for a BC survival test, With one bullet each we went rat hunting,
I'm pretty sure we ended up starving. Great day, need a good 3-5ft and then it gets serious, I think. Time to bring more bullets.
Good Session Friends!

OSP - WA.Nina TR:2 Stampede Pass, WA 11.24.2010
A short trip report video from a speedy snowmobile/snowboard backcountry session at Stampede, Pass, Wa. Filmed Wednesday 11.24.2010. We only had a few hours in the morning as Sman had to get to the airport by 3pm. My sled froze up the starter solenoid (damn single digit temps!) and after an hour of trying to get her to start, we cut our losses. So we doubled up, and broke trail doubled up all the way to King bowl, took a few snowboard turns then mobbed it back. Pow was insanely deep. Hells yeah WA.NINA!

place: The Gold Creeks, WA
people: Jonny and Tom
Sunday Oneshot and I completed the mandatory 'and so it begins' session at Gold Creek. With telemetry saying base at 15" or so, and light snow expected, expectations were set to a minimum. I was cautiously optimistic but looking forward to a return to the 'regular life' of snow shredding.
We pulled into an empty GC sometime after 8, due to some extra 30 minutes of shuffling on my part. First run of the season is always brought with some sorta delay, this time, all mine, as I was struggling with setting up new gear when Oneshot rung the doorbell. That and I had my pants around my ankles. Either way we were first in the lot! There was about four inches on the road. Plenty to sled right?
Worthy of note, it was dumping like a motherfucker and didn't let up all day long..
After a slick ice dusted road ride up to the Beaver, Oneshot thought it was time for some single track to the Stabbin Cabin. Log - 1, Oneshot - 0. Popped his belt off the secondary. Thank god for his magic stick, after 30 minutes of cussing and frustration we were back in business.
Next plan of action, head to Swan, go up to the 'fort', investigate hiking to the top of Spine Tingler.
Cock blocked by Mother nature herself. Snow conditions much better with 2-3ft on the roads, but no no no says that biatch. Lots of downed trees. This one was blocking the gates to goodness.
Plan C: Head to Presidents!
Stopped at the top of Slashers Delight for a sled couple turns. Off to Presidents we went, only to be cock blocked by another downed tree. This time I take no photo. Frustrated we went to the tower for a chill..
Plan D: Take some turns from the tower down between the roads. That worked. Look there's my board--->
After a few obligatory snowboard turns were had, we took a last ditch effort around the Beaver to see what we could find. This time we hit over the hood pay dirt. Pow the whole way, 3ft+. Soo fun.
I managed to ride up a log under the snow which gets my first stuck of the season out of the way. Hooray!
Oneshot assumes the Saskatchewan in the waist deep goods. We dead ended into trees, and not feeling brave enough to stump jump through to the road some 40ft below, we turned tail and called it a day.
Back at the trailer, you see the evidence of the days good work by Mother Nature. She's spreading some love.
So with that, it's on. And so it has begin again.

Sled Shredding - the mission 1 that started it all for me..
This here is from back in early 2008 from one of our 1st days out sled shredding. What started out as another day of riding chairlifts on hardpack soon turned into powder goodness with a phone call from Tom and an invite to come ride some freshies with him and Josiah, so Matt and I jumped in the Jeep and headed across the HWY to meetup with the sledders whom were oh so awesome to offer us rides into the backcountry for some sled shredding goodness..
Matt, Tom, Jonny and Josiah had a killer session of tree run riding, powder slashing fun while it puked snow the whole time.
this was a fun and funny edit i thought to be entertaining both watching and making.. :) - oneshot

OSP - Totally Bored Part Four
at last! we are done with Totally Bored, it was a fun series that kept me from being Totally Bored waiting for the snow to fall. so, snow.. YOU CAN SHOW YOUSELF ANYTIME NOW!
as stated before, this series was a bunch of misc clips we managed to get over the last couple seasons while out not really trying so hard on the filming side and just riding and enjoying the snowy mountain fun times.
we are planning on releasing a new series of shorts for the 2010/2011 season (yet to be named) so stay tuned for that when the snow starts flying. as well as we will for the 1st time in a few yrs be working on a new full length flick with all new HD cams, new faces and shredders and lots of fun adventures to share.
